Delete your Nisr account

For passengers and drivers. You can also do this in the app: Settings → Delete account.

We send a code by SMS to make sure the number is yours.

What happens

  • Your name, phone number, email, photo, saved places, trusted contacts and notifications are erased, and you are signed out on every phone.
  • For drivers: your documents and their details are erased too. Credit left in your wallet can’t be paid out — call 8417 first if you want to talk about it.
  • Trip and payment records are kept without your name or number, as Ethiopian tax law requires (see section 8 of the Privacy Policy).
  • An account can’t be deleted during a trip. Finish or cancel it first.
